When shipping your prized possessions to our studio, consider the following to ensure a smooth and secure journey for your items:
-
Protective Packaging Matters: Ensure your helmet or other items are well-protected with packing peanuts or bubble wrap. Shipping companies handle packages with varying degrees of care, and proper packaging helps safeguard your belongings during transit.
-
Declare the Value: Let us know the value of your helmet so that we can arrange proper insurance coverage for both the paint job and the item itself upon return. If you're providing a pre-paid label, make sure it includes adequate insurance.
-
Direct Shipping from Vendors: If you're purchasing your helmet from an online vendor, consider having it shipped directly to our studio. This can save you both time and money compared to having it shipped to your address first and then forwarding it to us.
-
Include Your Contact Information: Don't forget to include your contact details, including your email address. This ensures we can reach out to you promptly with updates and any necessary information.
-
Preferred Return Shipping Method: By default, we use USPS Priority for return shipping, which typically takes two to three days for delivery. If you have a specific shipping preference, please let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate it.
-
Optimize Packaging Size: For masks or helmets, try to fit them into a box no larger than 12x12. This not only helps protect your item but also can significantly reduce shipping costs.
5. Can I visit your shop, and what are your hours?
Certainly! However, please call ahead for an appointment as our shop hours are by appointment only.
6. Do you provide concept sketches, and what subjects can you paint?
Yes, we provide concept sketches for a fee of $75.00 for helmets and $225.00 for motorcycles. We can paint a wide array of subjects, including eagles, wolves, skulls, fantasy, portraits, flames, true fire, graphics, and more.
7. How long does the custom paint process take, and how early should I submit my item for Spring readiness?
Our schedule is typically booked three to six weeks in advance, with late Winter/early Spring being the busiest. For Spring-ready bikes or helmets, it's advisable to submit early.
